Formed in 1997, Baker Street is a "boutique" company that specialises in raising finance for emerging and expanding businesses, as well as the subsequent management and administration of such businesses. From its core area of expertise within the TV and Film industry, Baker Street has expanded into other areas to include computer games, publishing, live events, medical research and emerging technologies. Baker Street invests in projects that have a strong management incentive to create a successful business, where there is something unique about the underlying business proposition and with a clearly defined exit route for investors. We also strongly believe that it is the "after sales service" and subsequent project management that is equally important to investors and their advisers as well as the initial stages of raising finance. In addition to our project financing and consulting, we offer additional services such as back office administration or advice on investment structuring and business plans whether or not Baker Street is subsequently involved in the fund raising process. |
